It is situated south from the Vatnajökull glacier and between Skaftafell National Park and the little city Höfn. Location: Iceland Gear: Nikon Coolpix 8800 About Wendy de Kok Hi, my name is Wendy. As long as I know I liked photography, but it was too expensive for me. Fortunately the digital camera was launched and finally photography was avaible to me. End 2004 I bought my first camera, the Nikon Coolpix 8800. I was happy like a small child :) Each time I play with my camera, mostly during my vacations, I'm learning new things. Begin 2007 I bought my first 'real' camera ;o) the Nikon D80. It will give me more opportunities with shutter speed and aperture than I have now. Everyday (from the 1st until the 28th), among all images uploaded by our contributors, we publish a photo of the day (POTD).
Every week (on the 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th), among all POTDs of the preceding week, we select a photo of the week (POTW).
On the 30th we select the best POTW as photo of the month (POTM).
The author of the POTM receives:
a US$50 gift certificate to Kiva
+ (in even-numbered months only)
an invitation to be Photoburst's guest editor in the following month!
