Jake Hatfield

I met Jake Hatfield on the bus on my way from Georgia to Tennessee. That was my first time on legendary Greyhound, and it sure was a memorable one. As for Jake, he was traveling back to Michigan from Florida. He had to do couple of months down in Florida for something he did in 1976 he said. That way Social Security checks would continue being issued to him. He was happy to be on the way back home...I hope by now that Jake is safe back in Michigan and receiving his Social Security checks:-)

Photoburst is a photo of the day contest focusing on Travel Photography.

Everyday (from the 1st until the 28th), among all images uploaded by our contributors, we publish a photo of the day (POTD).
Every week (on the 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th), among all POTDs of the preceding week, we select a photo of the week (POTW).
On the 30th we select the best POTW as photo of the month (POTM).

The author of the POTM receives:
a US$50 gift certificate to Kiva + (in even-numbered months only) an invitation to be Photoburst's guest editor in the following month!
