Kuwaiti Couple Walking towards Dark Storm at Souq Sharq Pier

April in Kuwait is super exciting from photography point of view. As the season changes it presents some dramatic moments created by nature. This photo was taken shortly before yesterday storm. It was rather dramatic sunset (especially for Kuwait) just before the cloud released the huge rain and hail.

Born in one of the most beautiful cities in the world - Prague, but as we all do, I took its beauties for granted and tried to find more beauties around the world. My first trips took me to places where ancient civilizations left their mark such as India, Egypt and Middle East. Traveled as far as Mongolia, New Zealand or Alaska, always enjoying discovering new places and if lucky returning there too. I slowly but surely got used to it and travelled 81 countries ever since, finding home in different places of the world.

Photoburst is a photo of the day contest focusing on Travel Photography.

Everyday (from the 1st until the 28th), among all images uploaded by our contributors, we publish a photo of the day (POTD).
Every week (on the 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th), among all POTDs of the preceding week, we select a photo of the week (POTW).
On the 30th we select the best POTW as photo of the month (POTM).

The author of the POTM receives:
a US$50 gift certificate to Kiva + (in even-numbered months only) an invitation to be Photoburst's guest editor in the following month!
