My passions in life are travelling, meetingnewpeoples and photography. Travellinghelps me to explore different places and meet new people. I believe that travelling develops a new vision towardshow you see the world. Closely experiencing their cultures, meeting people from different communities and observing their beautysometimetheir ugliness, help me understand that all of our lives and cultures are both interrelated & different at the same time. Photography along with travelling for me is the medium to explore theseaspects ofthe society. Throughoutmy journey so far, I have started appreciating culture that I have come across, people whom I've met and the landscapethat I've seen.As a result, I am an open-minded person, who knows value of the society and importance of the culture in a society. By virtue of my experience,I can now understand the essence and importance of what we have and who we are.
The works of many photographers have inspiredme and I hope my contribution will inspire others to do the same. I view the art of photography as a reality being portrayed from the point of view of an enthusiastic observer. I use my self-learnt photography skills, to capture photographs and emotions of the subject, to communicate what I see, feel and the message that I want to convey from my photographs. By profession, I am a social worker inone of the reputed organization of Parsa, Nepal. But, I have been involved in photography since my early adulthood. The genres that I focus in my photography aremainly people, their life styles, portraits, travelling, landscapes and places. So far my works have been published in reputed travel websites and have been nominated as “photo of the month” in some of those. Some of my other works have been published in highly reputed National Geographic’s “your shot-daily dozen photographs”genre. Meanwhile, I am also selected among top photographers in World Bank’s “lookaroundyou” photo competition in Nepal.
I would like to thank everybody, who encouraged me to explore. I am always ready to share my work with you.I am eager to hear from you and I hope my workinterests you. Your commentswill be highly appreciated.

Photoburst is a photo of the day contest focusing on Travel Photography.
Everyday (from the 1st until the 28th), among all images uploaded by our contributors, we publish a photo of the day (POTD).
Every week (on the 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th), among all POTDs of the preceding week, we select a photo of the week (POTW).
On the 30th we select the best POTW as photo of the month (POTM).
From May 2015 onwards we will cease to award gift certificates to Kiva and guest editorship invitations to our POTM winners. However, occasionally we may accept/address guest editorship proposals, as we strongly believe they are a great way of further involving photographers with Photoburst. Interested? Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.

... as long as there's an advanced Maths course in a (not necessarily) nearby country. He's known for pushing friends into the most expensive photographic equipment... several family inheritances have been wasted, but they often acknowledge his smart advices. Owner of a clinical eye, he can spot perfection amidst chaos as easily as a small imperfection on a perfect photo. He's also an occasional stork stalker and, above all, a caring father of two beautiful children. Gastão's current location: Covilhã, Portugal.
... give us a hand. He's our Computer Science genius and is currently addicted to photographing cats. He's a natural born optimist who makes a joke out of anything... don't mess with his Toyota though. Eventually, his stocks will rise from death and he'll invest in livestock and vineyards. He's got highly trained fingers either playing the piano or shortcutting photoshop. We hope he'll stick around after marrying his college sweetheart. In the mean time, he'll dissect every submitted photograph into binary code. Pedro's current location: Covilhã, Portugal.
... would only be true if reading travel, geographic and surfing books/magazines accounted some mileage. He checks his e-mail every 2 minutes and he's often seen going cold-turkey when offline. Still divided between several walks of life, he strongly believes in Murphy's law "If anything can go wrong, it will". Photography plays a huge role in his life, at least judging by his conversation topics. Gray hair will eventually take the better of him. Pedro's current location: Covilhã, Portugal.
